Teaching

I have been teaching at the University of Amsterdam since 2020 through seminars, lectures, assistance, and examinations, including essays, papers, and exams. In addition to the listed courses, I mentored students and supervised eight Bachelor's theses. I taught in both Dutch and English.

I am passionate about teaching. I find it rewarding and energizing to discuss, and sometimes rediscover, the core questions in philosophy through dialogue with curious students, especially when these topics are close to my heart.

Students have described my classes as particularly clear and well-structured, and my style as accessible. I highly value creating a classroom dynamic where students feel comfortable participating and know that their contributions matter. To me, this is not just a fundamental didactic starting point but also an epistemic condition for the best philosophical insights.

In 2023, I received my Basic Teaching Qualification (BKO) for academic education.
